Wikipedia defines coworking as "a style of work that involves a shared working environment, often an office, and independent activity. Unlike in a typical office environment, those coworking are usually not employed by the same organization."

Coworking is not about the space, it's about the people. Coworking is a way of escaping the isolation of the home office, and gaining back the social benefits of working with other like-minded individuals in the interest of pursuing a common goal: productivity.

Additional benefits are the cross-pollination of inspiration, ideas, and even clients. Coworking is great for networking!
